The Toyo Ito Library is very unique not only because it was entirely built with watches but because of its special way to use space. I interpreted the red as traveling corridors that helped shaped the subsections of this building.

In the first image the interior was built with he idea to have exposure to nature and feel an interconnects. While its not directly connected with open spaces he uses the arches to accomplish this almost tunnel vision that allows for big radians of natural light.

The OMA Bordeaux has as a special factor that convolutes the collision aspect of this case study. While it plays with spaces what’s more important is the traveling of light. Having this gaping hole in the middle of each floor plays a part a skylight which affects every section differently depending on its position.

Constant’s New Babylon concept projects were very creative but lacked functionality and structural reliance. Although not mapped out correctly due to the lack of detail in his designs he uses open spaces to show the beginning and end of a closed space. I wish to understand his plan of getting on and off this structure but it’s not clear since it was a concept.
