I began to create a grid based on the boundaries of the different areas; red lines represent oddities in that they do not align with other rooms 
Hatched the corridors to indicate circulation and to highlight the way in which the corridors acts as the roads of the city 
By extruding the different rooms, I create a small city, extrusions act as buildings, corridors act as street

I focused my work for this post on the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa. I colored the different areas of the Museum based on the way they are used. They represent the following;
Red – galleries, blue – courtyards, purple – offices, black – utilities, orange – lounging areas, light blue – entrances, green – other
