Collage: when many different forms that seemingly have no relation come together to form one entity.

Coincidence: when two or more forms interconnect and/or share similarities with each other by chance.

Collision: when two or more forms clash or intersect with one another with no real order.

For The Berlin Memorial, I tried to emphasize the collisions between the ordered grid and the grid made by the tops of the pillars. I really like the juxtaposition between having something so organized along with something that has no real order and seems to be more chaotic.
  • I really like this view because I feel like it emphasizes the different height levels of the different “houses”

For The Spatial City I tried to focus on the word collage. I tried to use different colors to make it seem as though the various parts of each unit made up a different aspect of a “collage”. I definitely would want to explore different ways to show this as well, but I do like the the use of color to show collage for this project.
