Eisenstein and Tschumi Diagrams

For this set of readings I was focused on how framing a structure (or any object really) can change the narrative and allows for manipulation of the reaction of any onlooker. This struck me as I found it connected with my Grace Farms analysis in which I described how from different vantage points the structure always takes on a new form or meaning due to collage. In my diagram of this theme I created a model with three cut outs and diagrammed how when different fractions of the model are in view different features capture your attention and different stories can be made.

Revisions of Eisenman Application

For my revisions of my Eisenman application to Grace Farms, I wanted to show how the overlapping and rotation of the structure could lead to a more complex and balanced composition. I used these transformations to create new spaces and walls based on the intersections in the transformed plan. After my first update I made the composition a bit more layered by adding in more walls based on the original plan, I got to a point where I felt if I added more the composition became too busy and off-balanced so I thought that this was the sweet spot.
