Edited Version of last week’s assignment. As the transformations of each of the pieces was taking place, I decided to look at all of the solid spaces/shapes made by the combination and overlapping of the original shapes. These spaces I defined as being column like. Then I decided to look at the front view and how each of the transformations were creating new shapes on this plane as you can see highlighted in the diagram below.
This weeks assignments – Sergei Eisenstein – thought of his idea as being different parts of something guide the path of your eyes in different frames.
