Shot

These five individual forms are the shots of the composition. They are elements from two of my previous case studies (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art Kanazawa and the Maison Bordeaux)

Montage

Collision between shots create montage. At intersections, the lower element retains its form while the other element gets cut from the top face of the lower piece. Frames take preference and are always left intact.

Rhythm

Rhythm is created by the organization of the shots. Vertical frames are equally spaced and their elevation create a repeatable pattern. The horizontal frames along with its corresponding volumes are also organized by elevation. A grid was used for approximate pavement of the shots. This grid was also from one of my previous case studies (section of the Casa del Fascio).
